1. Report by correspondent says that the Independent National Electoral Commission [INEC] will today hold a special meeting on the inconclusive Imo State governorship/Houses of Assembly elections. In a statement in Abuja yesterday by Chief Press Secretary to INEC Chairman, Kayode Idowu, the agency pleaded for patience, saying a decision is about to be taken on the inconclusive elections. 2. Report by Esther Chivu says that some candidates of the opposition parties in Cross River State have rejected the results of Tuesday's house of assembly and rescheduled national assembly election. They alleged massive irregularities in the polls. Spokesperson of the parties Prof Eyo Etim Nyong, the senatorial candidate of Action Congress of Nigeria [ACN], spoke to reporters yesterday in Calabar. He called for the cancellation of the results.
