Sy-led unit eyes deal with Raintree for hotel.

BELLE CORP., the high-end developer controlled by the Sy family, is in talks with hotel operator HSAI Raintree for the management of one of the three hotels at a planned $750-million complex, an official yesterday said.

"We have identified the group who will manage the all-suite hotel. They are the group behind the Discovery brand," Belle Vice-Chairman Willy N. Ocier told reporters after the company's stockholders' meeting in Makati.

Aside from Discovery brand of hotel accommodations, HSAI Raintree is also behind restaurant concepts in the country.
