A GBP610,000 CCTV camera network is up and running in four Aberdeen communities to help fight crime and antisocial behaviour.
The new wireless system has seen 12 modern cameras installed in the Rosemount, Cults, Culter and Mastrick areas of the city.
The network, which is already used in Torry, transmits images from the four communities to Grampian Police's CCTV room for monitoring, and to the city council's antisocial behaviour team, which is due to relocate to Tillydrone.
