Pirates keep 'treble' hopes alive after seeing off Stars Sports Editor ORLANDO Pirates' hopes of a unique premiership treble remained very much alive after the top-flight leaders dumped Free State Stars out of the Nedbank Cup at Orlando Stadium yesterday.

Pirates won this quarterfinal 1-0 with a header from defender Happy Jele that was enough to set up a semifinal date against Black Aces.

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) conducted the semifinal draw at the sparsely populated Orlando Stadium immediately after the Pirates quarterfinal match against Stars, and amateur giant killers Baroka FC will tackle Black Leopards in the other …
