Hitachi Chemical Co Ltd gives an update on the situation regarding the effect of the Great East Japan Earthquake occurred on 11 March 2011. While the operations at the production sites of Hitachi Chemical and its Group companies are being halted due to the effect of the earthquake, the production of certain products has been confirmed to have restarted.
