More graffiti in support of detained mainland artist Ai Weiwei has appeared in Hong Kong, this time in the New Territories.

About seven Ai-inspired markings were found outside Tsuen Wan West MTR station as well as other locations in the area, including a footbridge near the Town Hall.

The paintings include images of the detained artist and words such as "Who is afraid of Ai Weiwei" and "Ai Weiwei, the conscience of China."

The artwork was covered with black plastic sheets as police investigated.
