Section: General News - Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari downplayed the effects of the unilateral and international sanctions against Iran, saying the recent embargoes imposed by the EU against a number of Iranian officials are truly "funny and ridiculous".

"Such ridiculous measures show they are far from knowing the nature of the Revolution and the Islamic Republic's officials, the officials who have stood for the Revolution with all their power," Jafari told FNA on Saturday.
