A sacrifice bunt turned into a run-scoring play, and Orix right-hander Yuki Nishi turned in seven innings of one-hit pitching as the Buffaloes downed the Saitama Seibu Lions 5-3 on Sunday at Kyocera Dome Osaka.

Nishi (2-0) and Seibu's Masamitsu Hirano were locked in a pitching duel through five innings, but the Buffaloes scrambled to score the game's first run in the sixth.
