METRO Manilas train lines will temporarily stop running to give way to annual maintenance checks during the Holy Week break, their operators have announced.
Starting Maundy Thursday (April 21), the operations of the Light Rail Transit Lines 1 and 2, the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) and Philippine National Railways (PNR) will be suspended.
The PNR line from Tutuban in Manila to Alabang, Muntinlupa, will resume normal operations on Easter Sunday. Both the LRT and MRT, however, will start operations on Monday (April 25).
