Afghan police, legal officials discuss cooperation, security in west.

[Presenter] Police officials in [western] Herat Province reported on holding the first joint forum of security and judicial bodies in the province. Reportedly, the joint forum aimed at boosting further cooperation amongst the aforesaid bodies. The meeting ended with Governor of Herat Province Dr Daud Saba present this afternoon [7 April 2011]. Discussions were held on evaluating cases of criminals and making hard efforts to beef up tight security in the province. My colleague has more details on this.
