Section: Government & Politics - The Phue Thai Party says the mergers of four smaller parties will not risk its popularity in the upcoming snap election, adding that the political movement is the result of a struggle to win seats, as the recent change in ratio of elected to party-list MPs pose as a difficult challenge.

Spokesperson for the Phue Thai Party, Prompong Nopparit said that his party is not daunted by the merger of the Bhum Jai Thai and Social Action parties and the merger of Phue Pandin Party and Ruam Chart Pattana parties.
