from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency RAWANG, March 31 (Bernama) - A shiite follower today pleaded not guilty in Gombak Barat syariah lower court, Kuang with assisting to spread the banned teaching.

Mohd Kamil Zuhairi Abd Aziz,46, was charged with helping to spread shiite teaching thus violating the 'fatwa' (ruling) gazetted on Sept 24, 1998.

He allegedly committed the offence at premise 9C Jalan SG 3/16 Taman Seri Gombak in Batu Caves, Hulu Selangor, between 9 pm and 10:40pm on Dec 15 2010.

The charge under Section 12 (c) of Selangor Syariah Criminal Enactment 1995 was for insulting, disobeying and violating the 'fatwa'.
