from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency KUALA LUMPUR, March 31 (Bernama) -- Former Finance Minister Tun Daim Zainuddin said today that he believed that Barisan Nasional will win the Sarawak election with a "comfortable majority".

"I think Barisan will win, (but) with a bit more seats probably going to the opposition," he said during a question-and-answer session at the Sixth Tun Abdul Razak Lecture Series.

"It's good to hear that (Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul) Taib (Mahmud) is going to retire. Nobody should overstay," the former Umno treasurer said.
