from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency KUALA LUMPUR, March 31 (Bernama) -- Bakti, the Association of Wives of Ministers and Deputy Ministers, today handed over aid worth RM2.5 million to Japan's earthquake and tsunami victims.

The prime minister's wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, who is Bakti president, handed over the aid to Japan's Ambassador to Malaysia Masahiko Horie at Bangunan Bakti Siti Hasmah, here.

Deputy president Puan Sri Noraini Abdul Rahman was also present.

The contribution came from various organisations and companies including eCosway.com, 7-Eleven Malaysia and Bermaz Motor Sdn Bhd which contributed RM301,300 each.
