RESIDENTS DECIDE TO PUT UP GATE TO PREVENT CRIME.
from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency KUALA LUMPUR, March 31 (Bernama) -- Residents of several housing estates off Km 11, Jalan Cheras here have agreed to implement a joint gated and guarded community scheme beginning tomorrow to reduce crimes which have of late been on the rise in the neighbourhood.
The estates are Taman Ferngrove, Taman Cuepacs Phase 1, Taman Cuepacs Phase 2, Taman Masria and Taman Cheras Permata 2.
A joint statement issued today by residents' associations of the housing estates concerned said the implementation of the scheme had been approved by the Kajang Municipal Council.
