Section: General News - The Republic of Korea (RoK) on March 31 approved the resumption of aid to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) after the Yeonpyeong island shelling occurred in November last year.

The RoK Ministry of Unification agreed to the request of the RoK-based US Eugene Bell Foundation to send tuberculosis medicine valued at 336 million won (305,000 USD) to the DPRK.
