IAN BOGIE has thrown down the gauntlet to his fringe players to earn a future at Gateshead.
Several of the Tynesiders' squad are out of contract at the end of the season, and Bogie - who will aim to make "three or four quality additions to the squad" - has already begun receiving tip-offs about players available in the summer.
However, with nine Blue Square Bet Premier games remaining - beginning with tomorrow's trip to Bath City - the Gateshead boss says opportunity is about to knock for some of his sidelined stars.
