Punjab Bar Council (PBC) has returned an application of a woman against a lawyer, who beat her in the High Court premises a few days back, asking her to submit process fee. The complainant, Bushra Sayeda (60) said that she time and again approached the PBC against Advocate Nasir Khan Banuzai for beating her but no one gave her any favour.

She said the officials asked her that if she was true in leveling the allegation, she must pay fee and if she did not pay the meager amount of Rs 500, then it would be clear that she was raising allegations against respected members of the bar. She said although it was not easy to manage Rs 500 …
