Japan thanks PH for quake, tsunami aid.

JAPAN has expressed its deepest appreciation to the Philippines for the relief goods it sent for the victims of the quake and tsunami that devastated a large part of the country last March 11.

The relief goods will alleviate the difficulties of the people affected by the natural disasters, the Japanese Embassy said in a statement it issued on Monday.

The government and people of Japan, with the assistance being extended by the international community, including the Philippines, will make all-out efforts to overcome the challenges brought about by the earthquake and tsunami, the embassy said.
