VICE President Jejomar Binay, also the Presidential Adviser on Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) Concerns, will leave today for Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
Binay will be in Doha until March 31. He will proceed to Riyadh on April 1.
In the two Middle East countries, which host more than two million OFWs, Binay plans to discuss labor and economic issues and look into the conditions of Filipino migrant workers.
It is in the best interest of the Philippines and the two countries to reach common ground on issues affecting Filipino workers, Binay said in a statement.
