Job fair expects 500,000 visitors.

KUALA LUMPUR: The inaugural Barisan Nasional Youth Job Fair 2011, which opens today, is expected to draw around 500,000 visitors, said BN Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin.

He said the fair had so far seen 52,100 on-line pre-registrations for the 40,000 jobs available.

"I hope youngsters, especially those who are looking for first or new jobs, will come to this fair. We have many positions available not just from recruitment agencies, but from multinational companies, government-linked companies and government agencies."
