IGP: 5-year plan to keep with change.

KUALA LUMPUR: Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar will unveil a new five-year strategic plan for the force in conjunction with the 204th Police Day celebrations today.

Ismail will announce the key thrusts of the plan to his men at the Police Day parade at the police training centre in Jalan Semarak here this morning. This is his first Police Day celebrations as IGP.

He said there were eight strategic thrusts outlined in the new plan designed to ensure that the force remained relevant and lived up to public expectations.
