Lauder Strikes Deal With Unigen

The Estee Lauder Cos. Inc. and Lacey, Wash.-based Unigen Inc. said Tuesday that they have entered into an exclusive product license and supply agreement related to the development and commercialization of Unigen's proprietary natural ingredients. Unigen discovers and develops proprietary natural ingredients for the dietary supplement, food, cosmetics, personal care and pharmaceutical industries.

The deal gives Lauder exclusive rights to certain Unigen discoveries. The first of these discoveries is used in Clinique's best-selling new products Clinique Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector and Clinique …
