The announcement made by Libyan Foreign Minister Musa Kusah yesterday of his country's commitment to an immediate ceasefire and his acceptance of the Security Council resolution, which called for a no-fly zone on Libya to protect the civilians, reflected a feeling that the noose has become very tight on the Libyan leaders and that Libya is close to facing a strong strike by Western countries, with symbolic assistance from Arab countries.
