from THE JAKARTA POST -- WEDNESDAY, MARCH 16, 2011 -- PAGE 5 Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta has pledged to help Japanese students at the university in the wake of last week's earthquake and tsunami.

There are currently 25 Japanese students studying Indonesian culture and language through the Indonesian Language and Culture Learning Service (Inculs) at Gadjah Mada's cultural sciences school.

The head of the university's International Affairs Office, Rahmat A. Sriwijaya, said Gadjah Mada would hold a gathering for the Japanese students.
