But something else shocked me the other day.
I felt thirsty and wanted to drink some water in a small caf? in Jakarta's Mega Kuningan area. The waiter gave me a 330 milliliter bottle of water and a glass. I emptied it in one sip. To my surprise, the bill was Rp 11,500 -- actual cost Rp 10,000, government tax Rp 1,000 and service charge Rp 500.
