IAN BOGIE has been officially confirmed the Heed master after the 43-year-old was named Blue Square Bet Premier Manager of the Month for February.

Bogie's resurgent Gateshead won all seven games last month, five of them away, scoring 22 goals while conceding just three, making the adjudicators' job a simple one.

It was a first such accolade in the top flight of non-league football for the affable Bogie who already has back-to-back promotions on his CV.
