statesman news service KOLKATA2 MARCH:Calcutta Medical College and Hospital will tie-up with Lady Dufferin Victoria Hospital to provide better facilities in the gynaecology ward. The initiative was taken after it was found that large number of patients suffering from gynaecological problems were admitted to other hospitals due to shortage of beds. At present the CMCH and Lady Dufferinhave around 100 and 274 beds, respectively. The tie-up will cause a rise in the number of beds.
