KURNIA PRE-TAX PROFIT FALLS TO RM29.407 MLN.

from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 28 (Bernama) -- Kurnia Asia Bhd's pre-tax profit for financial year ended Dec 31, 2010 fell to RM29.407 million from RM102.353 million in the same period of 2009.

Its revenue declined to RM1.069 billion from RM1.082 billion previously.

For the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2010 it recorded a pre-tax loss of RM9.230 million compared to a pre-tax profit of RM18.698 million in the same quarter of 2009.

Its revenue, however, rose to RM274.084 million from RM257.012 million previously.
