from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency IPOH, Feb 28 Feb (Bernama) -- Some 15,000 office assistants are awaiting approval of an application for their post to be upgraded.

They are expected to know the decision of the Public Services department in May at the earliest, according to Omar Osman, the president of Cuepacs, the Congress of Unions of Employees in the Public and Civil Services.
