from BUSINESS LINE, February 28, 2011 West Asia continues to be turbulent. Not a day goes by without another report of a protest in yet another country. Morocco and Algeria have now started making it to the headlines. Reporters from different locations have taken to adding an introductory paragraph, attributing the protest as being 'inspired by Tunisia and Egypt'. It will be fruitful to reflect on what lessons can be learned from Egypt.

When Mubarak resigned and life started limping back to normalcy in Egypt, some protestors turned up in Tahrir Square with brooms and wash cloths to clean the mess. The Egyptian police, hated by the protestors, have now created their own Facebook page. Something new is coming out of Egypt.
