25 February: The city of Tripoli and all the areas of the north today celebrated the arrival of Prime Minister-(designate) Najib Miqati to the city of Al-Fayha for the first time since he was designated to form the new government. He arrived in the afternoon and was received in front of his residence in Tripoli by thousands of supporters and sons of the north who repeated national songs, shouted long life to him, and wished him success in his mission. The crowd carried Lebanese flags, pictures of Prime Minister Miqati, and banners welcoming him in the name of the sons of Tripoli and the north and the "Azm and Saade Association," which he and his brother, Taha, founded in the early 1980s. Lebanese flags and banners of welcome and pictures were also raised all along the road from the entrance of Tripoli to the residence of Prime Minister Miqati.
