Iraqi leader Al-Sadr pronounces support for demonstrators.

[Friday sermon by Muqtada al-Sadr, leader of the Al-Sadr Trend, at the Grand Al-Kufah Mosque in Al-Kufah, posted on 25 February]

Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin His Eminence Sayyid Muqtada al-Sadr, may God support him, has led Friday prayer at the Grand Al-Kufah Mosque. Before delivering his sermon, Sayyid Al-Sadr said: There is clear negligence of attending the holy Friday prayer. I consider this as a betrayal of Martyr Sayyid Al-Sadr, may God sanctify his secret.

In his first Friday sermon, His Eminence addressed the believers on a wish, which he wishes will come true.
