Section: General News - A UN independent expert returns to Haiti to find many levels of human rights abuse, from prison overcrowding to concern over illegal adoption of earthquake orphans.

On Thursday, an independent expert for the United Nations expressed his concerned over human rights issues in Haiti, just over a year since a horrific earthquake brought the Caribbean country to its knees.

Many Haitians are still living in make-shift camps with very poor hygiene facilities despite the work of aid organizations.
