Section: General News - The Thai Patriots Network has asked the International Red Cross to help press the government to expedite the appeal for two Thais sentenced to jail in Cambodia on charges of territory intrusion and espionage.

After filing a petition with the Civil Court asking for the removal of restrictions against its rally, core leader of the Thai Patriots Network or TPN Chaiwat Sinsuwong today met the director of the International Red Cross office in Thailand to discuss ways to help the two Thais, Weera Somkwamkid and Ratree Pipatanapaiboon, convicted by the Cambodian court to a prison sentence for intrusion of Cambodian soil and for espionage.
