Section: General News - On 23 February 2011, at 13:30 hrs., at the Parliament Building 2, Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva chaired a meeting of the National Energy Policy Committee No. 2/2011 (No. 135). After the meeting, Mr. Wannarat Channukul, Minister of Energy unveiled the gist of the meeting as following.

The meeting considered three agendas including 1) electricity charge structure for the year 2011-2015; 2) the review of natural gas pricing structure; and 3) LPG and NGV pricing policy. The meeting agreed to extend the fixed gas prices for LPG and NGV to the end of June 2011. As the price structures of LPG and NGV were correlated, a price increase must be considered …
