A convicted kidnapper from the Westcountry thought to have been hiding from police on the 'Costa del Crime' has been arrested, it was revealed last night.

Crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers and the Serious Organised Crime Agency (Soca) said that Exeter-born Dean Lawrence Rice, 49, was arrested at 9am British time yesterday in the town of Alhuarin, in the Costa Del Sol, by Spanish police.
