Section: Business News - On 11 February 2010, 09.50 hrs, at Meeting Room 219, Parliament Building 2, Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva chaired the 1/2554 National Energy Policy Committee meeting (No. 134) to discuss and consider possible solutions to the increasing oil prices.

The National Energy Policy Committee resolved to extend the period of diesel subsidy to the end of April. The government is currently using the Oil Fund to subsidize the price of diesel at below Baht 30/liter.
