PLANS have been lodged for a waste treatment plant in Buchan which aims to reduce the amount of rubbish dumped in Aberdeenshire landfill by 70%.
Sita UK submitted an application for the GBP60million 'resource recovery park' yesterday, which is earmarked for land at the Stoneyhill dump, near Peterhead.
