from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency NEW DELHI, Feb 2 (Bernama)-- India's former Telecom Minister A. Raja was arrested on Wednesday, in connection with a telecommunication licensing scam, almost three months after he quit his post.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), India's elite probe agency, arrested the 47-year-old politician for irregularities in the tendering process of the licences, reported Indian media.

The ex-minister's personal secretary and the ministry's former secretary were also arrested today.

Raja was alleged to have awarded licences to selected corporate companies at a very low price in 2008, which experts claimed, cost …
