An engineering business is hoping the Leicester Mercury's challenge to match 100 people to 100 apprenticeships will help it find new workers.

Myles Ball, director of aerospace engineering firm Tower Tool, in Wigston, is looking to take on five apprentices as part of our scheme.

The Mercury has joined forces with Leicester College to get 100 apprentices signed up in 100 days.

Mr Ball said our campaign was the ideal way to extend his search for potential candidates at Tower Tool, which makes tools used to create parts for the aerospace industry.
