CHC Helicopter manager off to flying start in his European role.

Offshore helicopter company CHC Helicopter has appointed a new director of safety and quality for its European operations based in Aberdeen.

Duncan Trapp had been safety and regulatory manager at CHC since 2007.

He will lead safety operations at bases in Scotland, England, the Netherlands, Denmark and Norway.

Mr Trapp replaces former director Bob Millburn, who stood down from the post at the end of October but continues to be involved with CHC in a consultative role.
