from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 28 (Bernama) -- The Syariah Court of Appeal here gave opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim three weeks to present his written submission on the application for his 'qazaf' appeal which was dismissed by the High Court.

In the proceedings today, the court also heard the application for amendment made by Anwar as the appellant, to include the word 'overall' which was said to have been left out in the notice of appeal, on April 23 last year.

The High Court had earlier rejected Anwar's application for an order on the prosecution represented by Federal Territory Head of Syariah Prosecution Shamsuddin …
