THE Derbyshire home of the National Tramway Museum has launched a nationwide search to find volunteers to train as tram conductors.
Crich Tramway Village needs a large team of volunteers to run its daily services, with up to 12 conductors on duty on different trams during busy event days in the summer.
Volunteers come from all over the country and even from overseas.
The job involves conducting traditional British tramcars on a one mile running track, including taking the tram to and from the depot.
