Section: General News - Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Leila De Lima said that former state auditor Heidi Mendoza and retired Col. George Rabusa are qualified for admission at the agency's Witness Protection Program (WPP) should they wish to testify on the alleged corruption practices in the military.

Mendoza was the head of a special six-member team of the Commission on Audit (COA) and was detailed at the Office of the Ombudsman from 2004 to 2006 to investigate the case of former Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) comptroller Major Gen. Carlos Garcia.

Mendoza testified on the missing P50 million double reimbursements where part of expenses for soldiers …
