from THE JAKARTA POST -- FRIDAY, JANUARY 21, 2011 Bali police have planned to establish a number of traffic accident centers (TAC) in accident-prone areas in Denpasar, Tabanan, Jembrana and Gianyar regencies.

Sr. Comr. Syauqie Achmad, director of traffic at the Bali Police Headquarters, said on Wednesday that TACs would be operated 24 hours a day to expedite managing accidents in the respective areas.

Achmad said every TAC would be equipped with high-tech equipment including CCTV monitoring centers, ambulances, emergency health facilities, communications technology and other supporting equipment to provide victims of traffic accidents with fast and effective care. …
