from THE JAKARTA POST -- SUNDAY, JANUARY 23, 2011 British saxophonist Greg Lyons is scheduled to perform with his trio at Alexis Bistro Ampang on the evening of Jan. 28 and 29, backed up by Darren Moore on drums and A. J. on acoustic bass.

Currently based in Singapore, Lyons has gained international fame thanks to his commitment to making original music from combinations of eclectic elements that formed his musical evolution, ranging from jazz, classical, funk, rock, pop, Brazilian, Afro-Cuban, avant-garde and folk.
