THE UK Government has been urged to stop dismantling the cancelled RAF Nimrod spy-plane fleet and put them in storage in case they are needed in the future.
First Minister Alex Salmond said taking apart the nine MRA4 planes after spending GBP4billion to build them was an 'extraordinary waste of resources and a tragic mistake'.
