AS we usher in the New Year, we present some foreseeable sales trends to increase your revenue and overall financial health.

ANOTHER year has just begun. As we usher in 2011, how was 2010 for you? Prosperous? Average? Not so good? Well, 2011 is not going to be a walk in the park for sellers either.

Many current developments point to the fact that many sales organisations may end up in the museum of doomed companies if they remain stuck in the old ways of doing business.

I like Jack Welch's saying, 'Change before you have to'. Here are some sales trends that I see as important for us to know and prepare: Be Google-able My four main revenue drivers are word of mouth, repeat customers, direct sales and Google. The first three may not be new to anyone, but I'm seeing more and more enquiries coming from websites as opposed to phone calls.
