from ANTARA, The Indonesian National News Agency Kendari, SE Sulawesi, Jan 14 (ANTARA) - Dengue fever had killed 13 residents of Southeast Sulawesi province last year, Head of the province's health office, Amin Yohanis, said.

They were among 986 residents who suffered from the dengue fever virus in 2010, he said here Friday.

The dengue fever patients were found in eight of 12 districts and towns in the province, including Konawe, Konawe Selatan, Muna, Kolaka, Bombana and Kolaka Utara as well as the cities of Kendari and Baubau, he said.

"Kendari city is the most vulnerable to dengue fever with 466 patients. Four of had them died," he said.
